EWTN and IBC-13 Live Broadcast of Beatification

EWTN will provide a live broadcast of the beatification Mass of Alvaro del Portillo on Saturday, September 27. IBC-13 will simultaneously broadcast the EWTN signal for free TV.

EWTN will broadcast live the beatification Mass of Alvaro del Portillo, which will take place on Saturday, September 27, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Madrid time (6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Manila time). IBC-13 free-to-air TV will simultaneously broadcast the EWTN signal.

The beatification rite and Mass will be carried live on all 11 of EWTN's regional language channels: Pacific Rim, Africa/South Asia, Spanish International, United Kingdom/Ireland, Germany, Europe, Canada, United States, United States HD, United States-Spanish, and United States-Spanish HD.

Immediately before the live broadcast of the ceremony, at 5:30 p.m. Manila time, EWTN will carry a half-hour interview with the Prelate of Opus Dei, Bishop Javier Echevarria.

This website, www.opusdei.ph, will carry a livestream of the beatification Mass on the 27th and the thanksgiving Mass on the 28th, as well as summary videos of the activities to be held in Rome after the beatification.

The beatification ceremony will be replayed on the EWTN regional channels following the schedules below.

The contributions for a beatification and canonization cause help to cover the costs involved in making the Servant of God, Blessed or Saint more widely known, the diocesan investigation, the Roman phase and, finally, the ceremony of beatification and canonization, in accordance with the norms approved by Pope Francis on 7 March 2016. When the ceremony of canonization has taken place, the donations are destined to the spreading of the message of the new saint.
