The first Russian edition of Yes! The Life of St Josemaria has just been published by Beliy Kamen publishers. The book, by Miguel Ángel Cárceles, Isabel Torra, Isabel and Giorgio del Lungo, first appeared in Spanish, published by Rialp, in 1993.

The book was written for children of all ages, but is also great for adults who do not know about the life and message of St Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei. The newsflash from the publisher of the Russian edition says that this book “tells us the story of the life of St Josemaria Escriva, a man of the twentieth century – which does not seem too long ago. St Josemaria is known as ‘the patron saint of ordinary life’, because he helps ordinary people to understand that their everyday concerns can have a divine meaning.”

St Josemaria’s childhood, youth and adult life pass before the reader’s eyes like scenes in a movie, brought to life by the delightful drawings.

The reader will also find out about which events influenced St Josemaria’s life, some of the people he met on his path, the obstacles he had to overcome, the hardships he endured, and how he suffered, laughed, fought, and… became a saint!

The book was written for children of all ages, but is also great for adults... The publisher of the Russian edition says that this book “tells us the story of St Josemaria Escriva, a man of the twentieth century."
